About Us

Eryri National Park Authority protects the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park. Covering 823 square miles, the Park is home to the highest mountain in Wales, the largest natural lake in Wales, and over 26,000 people.

Our Integrated Natural Resource Schemes aim to manage, enhance and protect our Designated Landscapes, as well as farming communities and the local economy.

The Role

As an Integrated Natural Resource Scheme (INRS) Advisor, you will support the delivery of the Ffermio Adfywiol Tirweddau Eryri project and focus on helping farmers adopt regenerative farming practices.

Specifically, you will co‑ordinate project and farmer engagement, helping them find the right funding, assisting with applications and monitoring delivery. Working with specialist consultants to ensure projects are delivered successfully, you’ll be the key liaison for the project and a primary point of contact.

Additionally, you'll support farmers and landowners to develop management and transition plans for regenerative farming. Working closely with Landscapes Wales, Eryri specialists and Natural Resources Wales, you will help ensure projects are delivered in line with programme requirements.

  • Practical conservation experience, including providing land management advice and carrying out habitat assessments
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • A degree‑level qualification in an environmental, ecology, agricultural or land management‑related subject, a qualification in an agricultural or land‑based discipline, or significant directly relevant experience
