Are you a skilled tree surgeon with a passion for maintaining and enhancing natural landscapes? Do you have the expertise to perform a variety of tree work, including pollards, crown lifts, dead wooding, and fells? Our client, a reputable organisation with extensive experience in tree surgery and arboriculture, is seeking a dedicated Tree Surgeon to join their team for a temporary assignment.

Our client has been a trusted name in tree surgery since 1982, providing comprehensive services in both the public and private sectors. Their commitment to safety and excellence ensures that they deliver top-notch assessments and solutions for tree maintenance and removal.

As a Tree Surgeon, you will be responsible for executing a range of tree work tasks, ensuring the safety and health of trees in various locations. Working out of the Hertford depot, you will need to be reliable and capable of handling CAT1 priority tasks with precision and care.

• Perform tree work including pollards, crown lifts, dead wooding, and fells.
• Conduct tree assessments and provide recommendations for maintenance or removal.
• Operate and maintain tree surgery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Drive a 3.5-ton tipper van and tow a chipper.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to the highest standard.

Essential:

• CS31 & CS39 certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to drive a 3.5-ton tipper van.
• Proven experience in tree surgery.

Desirable:

• CS41 certification.
• Ability to tow a chipper.
