VISION

Are you passionate about helping to protect our wild uplands of Lancashire?

The Lancashire Peat Partnership are recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to work as part of the team, helping with surveys and overseeing ongoing peatland restoration work.

This is an exciting opening for anyone looking to further develop a career in peatland restoration and management. You will gain hands on experience in habitat restoration, project design, and survey work, while also having the opportunity to work with partners, external landowners, and volunteers.

The team require someone who can embrace the challenges the role will bring, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and who enjoys working outdoors, as you will be required to work an average of 3 days in the field per week between August-March.

In return, we offer 28 days holidays plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service. A friendly and flexible working environment with the chance to be a part of the largest nature conservation body in the area, working together to improve our region for nature as well as engaging and inspiring people to connect and take action for wildlife.
