Are you passionate about animal welfare and looking to build your career in veterinary care? We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Veterinary Care Assistant to join our lovely team at Medivet Leigh-on-Sea!
Our friendly and supportive practice is home to a fantastic team of 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 5 Client Care Assistants. We pride ourselves on working together to provide excellent care for our patients and a welcoming experience for our clients. We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for animal welfare, enjoys working as part of a team and is keen to learn and develop their skills in a busy veterinary environment.
This is a full-time position, including participation in a 1:4 weekend rota, alongside the on-call and bank holiday rotas at our Medivet Southend 24-Hour Hospital.
This provides an opportunity to gain experience in a wider range of clinical settings and work alongside colleagues across our wider veterinary team.

** You’re skilled at providing exceptional client care and are passionate about caring for pets. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

** What you’ll be doing
** Typically, in this role, you’ll:
* Deliver exceptional care to clients, supporting surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
* Deliver patient monitoring and care to pets, including walking, toileting and feeding
