An exciting opportunity is available for a

Veterinary Surgeon to join an experienced and supportive small animal team across two established practices in South Wales.

The role offers a varied caseload of

first opinion consultations and routine surgery
, with plenty of support from experienced Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses. The team includes certificate holders in

orthopaedics, ophthalmology and medicine
, alongside several highly experienced vets, creating an excellent environment for professional development.

The practices are

ISFM Silver Cat Friendly Clinics, RCVS PSS GP practices and nurse training centres
. They are well equipped with digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, lasers and well-equipped surgical theatres.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and motivated

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to providing high-quality patient and client care.

Applicants should have experience in clinical practice and growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases. Strong communication skills, a proactive approach to learning and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are important.

36 hours per week over 4 days
