At Cheltenham Vets4
Pets, we're proud to be more than just a veterinary practice. We're a close-knit, supportive team that combines excellent clinical care with genuine compassion for both our patients and their owners. Located within Gallagher Retail Park, our practice has built a strong reputation within the local community for delivering high-quality care and exceptional client service.
Led by Clare Rogers, our experienced team includes vets and nurses with a wide range of clinical interests and additional qualifications, spanning medicine, surgery, dentistry, feline nursing, behaviour, anaesthesia and analgesia. Our collaborative approach means everyone has a voice and is encouraged to contribute to the continued success of the practice.
We also benefit from advanced diagnostic capabilities, including ultrasound and cardiac ultrasound services, giving our team the opportunity to work up a wide variety of interesting medical cases and develop their skills across multiple disciplines.
What really sets us apart is our people.
Many of our colleagues have been with the practice for several years and have progressed their careers internally, demonstrating the supportive environment we've worked hard to create. Our nursing team includes certificate holders and those with specialist interests, creating fantastic opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues every day.
We're passionate about developing our team and supporting individual career goals, whether that's pursuing further qualifications, developing leadership skills, or expanding clinical responsibilities. Just as importantly, we genuinely enjoy working together and pride ourselves on maintaining a welcoming, family feel throughout the practice.
The RoleThis role is perfect for an experienced RVN who is ready to take the next step in their career. We can offer Full time or Part Time 20 – 40 hours with various shifts in 1 in 4 weekends. The weekly shifts will vary between the hours of 8.00 am and 7.00pm.
You will play a key role within the nursing team, taking ownership of your clinical work while helping to support and mentor student and newly qualified nurses. You'll work closely with our vets and nurses across consultations, inpatient care, anaesthesia, theatre and nurse-led clinics, helping to drive clinical standards and patient care throughout the practice.
This is a development opportunity that provides the platform to build leadership and mentoring experience without stepping away from hands‑on nursing. Whether your future ambitions lie in practice leadership or clinical specialism, we'll support you in getting there.
