Purpose of the Role
To support the business in maintaining compliance with food safety, quality, customer, regulatory, and certification requirements. The role helps ensure products, processes, and documentation meet legal, industry, and customer standards while supporting continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the maintenance, implementation, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, customer, and certification requirements.
• Assist with the development, review, and control of policies, procedures, specifications, labels, and technical documentation.
• Apply and support HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP principles, including monitoring, verification, and record management.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections, environmental monitoring, and other compliance verification activities.
• Prepare documentation and evidence for customer, certification, and regulatory audits.
• Investigate customer complaints, non-conformances, and corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution.
• Provide guidance and training to colleagues on quality and compliance requirements where appropriate.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance compliance, efficiency, and business performance.
• Adhere to all company policies relating to quality, food safety, health and safety, and professional conduct.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Communication and Numeracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to analyse information, interpret data, and work accurately with numerical information
