Our client, is a precision engineering manufacturer looking for a Senior Quality Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis. You'll be the quality gatekeeper for their operation, working across inspection protocols, customer liaison, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role where your expertise in precision engineering and quality systems will directly shape the company's reputation and delivery.
 
Lead inspection and pass-off activities using Roma Arm scanner, standard inspection equipment and PCDemis CMM system.
Drive quality improvements through 8D investigations and APQP processes
Support new projects from trial builds through to implementation into production.
Produce regular reports.
Create tool trial reports.
Complete feasibility studies for new tooling.
Create and maintain SOPs and WIs.  Preferred Requirements
 
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quality Inspector.
Hands-on experience with Roma Arm scanner, all inspection equipment.
PCDemis software programming skills.
Solid grounding in APQP, FAIRS, and 8D investigation methodologies
Proven track record in precision engineering inspection and pass-off procedures for FAIR preparation
Strong customer-facing skills, and confident communicating quality findings clearly.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while supporting the wider quality team  

Preferred Qualifications
 
Any Engineering Qualification
