Our client is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some practical experience within cable assembly, electrical assembly or a similar manufacturing environment, who is now looking to develop their career within Quality.
Trainee Quality InspectorRoles and Responsibilities:
- Carry out in-process and final inspections of cable assemblies and electronic products
- Inspect products against drawings, specifications and customer requirements
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet required standards
- Carry out electrical testing, including continuity and insulation resistance testing
- Identify defects, non-conformances and quality issues
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain relevant quality documentation
- Support investigations into quality issues and assist with corrective actions
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality concerns
- Ensure products are manufactured to the required quality standards
- Follow company quality procedures and maintain a high standard of attention to detail
- Develop knowledge of relevant quality standards and inspection techniques through training
- Previous practical experience within Cable Assembly, Electrical Assembly, Electronics Manufacturing or a similar environment
- Experience with Box Build Assembly would be advantageous
- A good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Comfortable working with drawings, specifications and work instructions
- Good practical skills and an interest in engineering/manufacturing
- Willingness to learn and develop within a Quality role
- Reliable, conscientious and able to work well as part of a team
- Previous Quality Inspection experience would be beneficial, but full Quality experience is not essential
Working Hours:
- Monday - Thursday, 07:45 - 16:15
- Friday, 07:45 - 15:15
