Site-Based Quality Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Site-Based Quality Engineer to support a major energy infrastructure project, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout construction, installation, testing and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards and contractual requirements.
* Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and monitor quality control activities.
* Manage non-conformances, defects and corrective actions through to closure.
* Maintain accurate quality records and ensure complete handover documentation.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors and project teams to resolve quality issues.
* Provide regular reports on quality performance, risks and outstanding actions.
Key Requirements:
* Typically 5+ years' experience in quality assurance within construction or project environments.
* Recognised Lead Auditor qualification.
* Experience working within highly regulated industries and major infrastructure projects.
* Strong knowledge of audits, inspections, non-conformance management and quality documentation.
* National Grid Persons Authorisation or equivalent, where required.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK, including rotational work where necessary.
