Asset Officer - 12-Month Contract

Location: Greenock - Hybrid Working
Salary: 40,635- 44,619
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: 12-month temporary contract

We're working with a well-established Housing Association in Greenock to recruit an experienced Asset Officer for a 12-month contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience across housing asset management, planned maintenance and landlord compliance to join a supportive and forward-thinking Property Services team.

The role will include:

• Supporting the delivery of planned and cyclical maintenance programmes
• Monitoring landlord health and safety compliance, including gas, electrical, fire, asbestos and water hygiene
• Supporting stock-condition surveys and maintaining accurate asset and compliance data
• Managing contractors and monitoring performance, quality and value for money
• Assisting with capital investment and property improvement projects
• Supporting energy-efficiency, sustainability and net-zero initiatives
• Monitoring project budgets, timescales and performance
• Liaising with tenants, contractors and internal teams
• Preparing asset, compliance and performance reports

We're looking for someone with:

• At least two years' experience in property or asset management within housing or a similar sector
• Experience supporting planned and cyclical maintenance programmes
• Good knowledge of landlord health and safety compliance
• Contractor-management or capital-project experience
• Strong communication, organisation and analytical skills
• Confidence using asset-management systems, Microsoft Office and compliance data
• A relevant property, building, construction or housing qualification
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Experience supporting net-zero, retrofit or sustainability programmes would be particularly advantageous.
