About

The Role

As the Audience, Insight and Evaluation Lead, you will help ensure that TPR's communications are shaped by evidence, insight and a clear understanding of audience behaviour.

Working at the centre of TPR's developing strategic planning function, you will bring together research, data and insight from across the organisation to support audience-led planning, communications activity and organisational priorities.

Your work will help TPR focus on the issues that matter most for pensions reform and members' interests, contributing to communications that support meaningful behaviour change among trustees, administrators, employers and those who influence them.

You will work closely with colleagues across Evidence, Research and Analysis, Digital and Data, and Marketing & Engagement to develop insight, apply behavioural frameworks, commission research and evaluate the impact of communications activity. The role also involves supporting the design and testing of behavioural interventions, translating complex evidence into practical recommendations, and ensuring learning is used to improve future planning and delivery.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to TPR’s objectives while continuing to develop expertise in insight, evaluation, behavioural science and strategic communications.

The Role Is Ideal For Someone Who
  • Enjoys using evidence, research and data to improve decision-making and outcomes.
  • Is motivated by understanding audience behaviour and helping shape communications that support positive change.

  • Takes a thoughtful and analytical approach to solving problems and improving ways of working.
Essential Skills
  • Experience developing theories of change, behavioural frameworks and evaluation frameworks in a regulatory context.
  • Experience applying qualitative and quantitative research findings to communications strategies and behaviour change interventions.
  • Experience managing external agencies and suppliers.
  • Experience communicating complex evidence clearly to senior and non-specialist audiences.
  • Strong understanding of behavioural science and experimental design and their application in a regulatory context.
  • Ability to interpret and translate qualitative and quantitative research into clear, actionable communications recommendations.
  • Strong ability to present and visualise complex evidence in formats that support senior decision-making.
  • Postgraduate degree in psychology, behavioural science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
TPR Offers
