About The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Senior Waiter to join the front-of-house team at The Candover. As a Senior Waiter, you will be a key presence on the floor during service, leading by example through professionalism, product knowledge and calm execution. You will take ownership of your section, ensure guests receive a warm and attentive experience and support less experienced team members by offering guidance and support during service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver warm, confident and attentive service to all guests

* Take full ownership of a section, managing service smoothly and ensuring food and drinks are delivered accurately and at the correct pace

* Build rapport with guests and ensure they feel welcome and well looked after

* Maintain high attention to detail throughout service

* Support junior waiters during service when needed

* Confidently describe dishes, ingredients and drinks to guests

* Support upselling through knowledge and enthusiasm

* Maintain excellent presentation and professionalism

* Work collaboratively with the wider front-of-house and kitchen teams
