We re looking for an experienced and motivated chef to support our hospitality kitchens, delivering high-quality food across a variety of outlets including cafés, restaurants, bars, takeaways, and event catering services.

About the RoleAs a Chef de Partie, you ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our hospitality kitchens. You ll work closely with Senior Chefs to prepare, produce, and present food to outstanding standards while maintaining food safety, stock control, and operational efficiency.
You ll be part of a professional culinary team delivering food services for dailt customers and events.
This role offers variety, responsibility, and opportunities to contribute ideas to improve service, menus, and operations.
Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Kitchen OperationsPrepare, cook, and present food to the highest quality standards
Support Senior Chefs to deliver consistent and professional food service
Ensure all dishes are ready for service on time and presented correctly
Maintain clean, safe, and hygienic working environments
Monitor food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction
Minimise waste through effective stock rotation and portion control
Assist with recipe development and service improvements
Follow food safety legislation, HACCP procedures, and allergen controls
Maintain high personal hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
Identify and report hazards or equipment issues promptly
Assist with ordering supplies and managing deliveries
Support stock control processes and monthly stock checks
Maintain accurate records and follow financial procedures
Support electronic ordering and inventory systems
Help oversee food service areas and maintain service standards
Support staff training and day-to-day team management
Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional working environment
Allocate duties and monitor performance where required
NVQ Level 3 in Food Preparation (or equivalent City & Guilds qualification)
Level 3 Food Safety Certificate
Strong knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, and food safety legislation
Experience working in a professional food preparation environment
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to solve problems and work independently or as part of a team
Good literacy, numeracy, and basic IT skills
Strong communication skills and professional presentation
Knowledge of fire safety procedures
Experience in large-scale catering or hospitality operations
