D), depending on experience

Contract:

Full-time, 37 hours per week (up to 6 months)

Schedule:

Includes weekends and Bank Holidays

The Role

We are looking for a disciplined, organized Cook to take charge of our kitchen operations. This isn't just about flipping burgers; you will be responsible for the nutritional welfare of up to 80 service users. You will lead the kitchen environment, ensuring that high standards of food hygiene and infection control are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Meal Production:
Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality, nutritional meals for up to 80 individuals.

Menu Planning:
Assist in planning diverse menus that meet specific dietary and nutritional requirements.

Kitchen Management:
Supervise kitchen staff and manage the general organization of the kitchen.

Operations:
Maintain accurate records for stock levels, inventories, and fridge temperatures.

Compliance:
Ensure 100% adherence to Food Hygiene and Health and Safety legislation.

What You Need (Essential)

Qualifications:

A valid, up-to-date Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

Experience:

Proven track record in a large-scale catering establishment and experience managing kitchen staff.

Skills:

Ability to work on your own initiative, make decisions regarding dietary needs, and maintain clear written records.

Compliance:
You must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check with Adult Barring List.
