Sous Chef

Sous Chef – 29,000 per annum OTE, Full time.

• Produce and develop the highest standard of food within required time and financial targets.
• Step into the Head Chef’s shoes when required.
• Develop new initiatives to improve food standards.
• Research innovative ideas, contribute to menu planning, capture food trends, and delight customers.
• Communicate effectively and promote team spirit and company culture.
• Adjust work speed to meet business needs.
• Gather customer feedback to measure success.
• Commit to continuous learning by attending workshops and forums.
• Supervise staff as required.

• Education to C & G 706 1 & 2, NVQ or equivalent.
• Food Safety and Health Safety certificates at level 2.
• Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar size operation.
• Experience supervising others.

Monday to Thursday: 06:30am to 15:00pm (32 hours)
Friday: 06:30am to 12:00pm (5.5 hours). Total hours 37.5 per week.
