Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that both staff and guests experience exceptional service. Duties
Assist in managing daily operations of the restaurant or hotel, ensuring smooth service delivery.
Supervise and lead kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation and culinary tasks.
Help train new employees on operational procedures and standards.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas.
Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and enhance guest experiences.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies for food preparation.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts to optimise service during peak times.
Experience
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or culinary industry is preferred.
Proven track record of effective team management and supervising staff in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is essential.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing guest experiences.
