Junior Bartender

The Green Bar is a sophisticated and stylish bar located within the luxurious   Hotel Café Royal   in Central London. Named after the iconic drink absinthe, our bar offers a unique experience with a specialty absinthe menu that features innovative cocktails and shots. We pride ourselves on providing guests with an exceptional drinking experience in an elegant setting. We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Bartender  to join our dynamic team.

The Role:

As a Junior Bartender at Green Bar, you will support the bar team in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Working alongside our experienced bartenders and mixologists, you will prepare and serve beverages, develop your product knowledge, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the bar while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hospitality.
The Green Bar is open Monday to Wednesday from 4pm to 12am and Thursday to Sunday from 2pm to 1am.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and luxury service/ Forbes standards.
Support the bartenders and mixologists during service by preparing drink ingredients, garnishes, and glassware to ensure efficient service.
Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, taking drink orders, and making recommendations under the guidance of the senior bar team.
Develop a strong knowledge of The Green Bar's drinks menu, including cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and the history and preparation of absinthe.
Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all equipment and tools are ready for service.
Assist with replenishing stock, receiving deliveries, and ensuring products are stored and rotated correctly.
Follow all health and safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
Work closely with the wider bar team to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.
Support with opening and closing duties, ensuring the bar is fully prepared for service and maintained to the highest standards throughout each shift.
Continuously develop your bartending skills and product knowledge through training, coaching, and hands-on experience.
