• Salary of £31,000 to £34,000
• Up to 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays
• Excellent work‑life balance with shifts between 07:30 and 17:00 on a rota basis, usually finishing around 16:30
• Alternating weekends off

• Supporting the Head Chef with the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen
• Preparing and overseeing high‑quality food production
• Supervising, training, and supporting the kitchen team during service
• Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
• Monitoring stock, reducing waste, and assisting with ordering
• Ensuring efficient service and consistent food quality in a busy environment
• Assisting with kitchen organisation, rotas, and daily operational duties

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or senior Chef within a fast‑paced kitchen
• Experience working within counter‑style food service is preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining high standards
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Reliable, positive, and hands‑on approach
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when required
