Hourly Rate: £12.80 per hour (Age 21+) £11.00 per hour (Age 18–20) £8.05 per hour (Age 16–17)

As a Starbucks Barista, your typical day could include:

• Delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive customer experience
• Preparing beverages and food to Starbucks standards
• Recommending products and supporting store sales through confident up‑selling
• Operating tills and processing transactions accurately
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
• Following food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures
• Monitoring product quality and temperature records
• Supporting your team during busy periods and helping cover key trading times

Previous customer service or barista experience is helpful but not essential — full training is provided.

Due to the equipment, conditions & health & safety compliance regulations within Starbucks kitchen environments, applicants must be 16 or turning 17 in the year they complete high school. We’re unable to progress applications from 16‑year‑olds who will not reach 17 that year.

Flexible working options available. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and busy travel periods. Full‑time average shift 8 hours.
