Position: Commis/Chef de Partie (live-in available for the right candidate)
Location: Comrie

Assist in the preparation of ingredients and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of senior chefs
Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen
Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and storage areas
Follow recipes and instructions while maintaining consistency in food quality
Support kitchen operations by handling prep work and mise en place
Learn and apply proper cooking techniques for different dishes
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries while maintaining stock rotation
Follow health and safety regulations and comply with kitchen protocols
Take on additional tasks as assigned by senior chefs to support smooth kitchen operations
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Keen attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
