Sous Chef

Based on the stunning shores of the West Coast of Scotland, our client is looking for a Sous Chef who’s passionate about fresh ingredients, coastal flavours and creating consistently great dishes. You’ll work closely with their Head Chef to deliver memorable dining experiences in a supportive, well-organised and genuinely enjoyable environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations

• Preparing and presenting high-quality seafood dishes

Leading the team when the Head Chef is off perfecting their golf swing

• Keeping standards high and consistency spot-on

• Ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance

• Assisting with stock control, ordering and waste reduction

• Contributing ideas to seasonal menu development

• Helping build a positive, motivated kitchen culture

• Experienced Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up

• Passion for fish, seafood and coastal cooking

• Calm, organised and reliable under pressure

Supportive team player with leadership skills

• Strong commitment to quality, consistency and best practice

• £34,320–£35,360 per year (DOE), paid weekly
