We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to take full control of the kitchen at a small rural hotel based on the shores of Loch Fyne.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently excellent food and a smooth, professional service.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Taking full control and responsibility for the kitchen

* Leading and managing the kitchen team

* Creating and delivering high-quality dishes

* Maintaining consistently high food standards and presentation

* Managing food ordering and stock levels

* Controlling food costs and minimising waste

* Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards

* Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively

* Developing and maintaining a strong, consistent food offering

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

* An experienced chef with a strong background

* Passionate about quality food and excellent presentation

* Confident in managing a kitchen and leading a team

* Organised and knowledgeable about ordering and stock control

* Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards

* Reliable, professional and hands-on

* Creative and enthusiastic about developing a quality food offering
