Dolphin Homes is looking for a talented Cook to join our team at Kingfisher Court , our residential care home based in North Baddesley, Southampton , where you will play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of the people we support.

What Will You Be Doing? As Cook at Kingfisher Court, you will plan and prepare calorie-controlled meals for the individuals we support, working closely with our Head Chef to ensure a consistent, high-quality dining experience every day. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Planning and preparing nutritious, calorie-controlled meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Publishing meal plans ahead of time so residents and staff know what to expect Covering meal preparation on days when the Head Chef is not on rota Purchasing groceries and managing stock control and rotation wisely Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene and food safety standards Preparing meals in line with IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for food and takes pride in preparing meals that are both enjoyable and tailored to individual dietary needs. You will need to demonstrate knowledge and experience in:
Food preparation, with a focus on calorie-controlled menus Food hygiene and food safety control Wise purchasing, food storage, and stock rotation Delivering meals consistently against a set breakfast, lunch, and dinner timetable IDDSI experience and knowledge of this is essential Why Dolphin Homes?
