Head Porter

Location: Farringdon Within

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Porter to lead our kitchen porter team and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who can work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen operation.

Key Responsibilities Supervise and support the kitchen porter team during daily operations Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned to high standards Organise staff rotas and delegate tasks efficiently Assist chefs and kitchen staff with deliveries and stock movement Monitor cleaning schedules and hygiene standards Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations Train new kitchen porter staff members Maintain a positive and productive working environment Requirements Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or Senior Kitchen Porter Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays We ensure you're rewarded for all your hard work, which is why we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to:
