This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced Head Chef, producing refined dishes using outstanding seasonal produce in an exceptional countryside setting.

You'll be joining a talented and passionate kitchen brigade within a beautiful Cumbrian setting, working alongside an experienced senior team and helping deliver consistently high-quality dining experiences. This is an excellent role for a Sous Chef looking to develop their skills and progress their career within a prestigious hospitality environment.

• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen

• Leading and motivating the brigade during service

• Preparing and delivering dishes to an exceptional standard

• Assisting with the development and execution of seasonal menus

• Training, mentoring and supporting junior members of the brigade

• Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and health & safety

• Managing stock control and minimising waste

• Ensuring consistency and excellence throughout every service

• Supporting the kitchen team in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation

We're looking for a Sous Chef who has:

• Experience working within a high-end hotel, restaurant or quality-driven kitchen

• A genuine passion for exceptional food and seasonal produce

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure

• A positive attitude with a desire to continue learning and developing

• Ambition to progress within a prestigious luxury kitchen

• The ability to lead and inspire a team while maintaining high standards
