Forbes Arms Hotel is looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. We are a fresh-food kitchen with a strong focus on quality Scottish produce, good presentation and consistent standards.
THE ROLEAs Chef de Partie, you will work alongside the Executive Head Chef, Head Chef, Sous Chef and the rest of the kitchen team. You will be responsible for your section, preparation and service while helping maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness and food safety.
- Take responsibility for your section and mise en place
- Deliver consistent cooking and presentation during service
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Follow food safety, HACCP and allergen procedures
- Support the wider kitchen team during preparation and service
This is a full-time, hourly-paid position contracted at 40–45 hours per week across 4 working days. The normal working pattern is 4 days on / 3 days off. Any additional days worked outside your normal 4-day working pattern are paid as overtime.
SERVICE TIMESMonday–Thursday: 12:00–19:00
Friday–Sunday:
Lunch & dinner service, finishing approximately 19:45
Typical covers: 30–40 on weekdays and approximately 60–100 across lunch and dinner at weekends.
