This Mobile Cook will be based in Mid Powys in several school kitchens. It is 25 hours per week, term time only which is 38 weeks. There is always opportunity for extra work during the summer holidays as we run a food and fun programme funded by the Welsh government at some of our schools., The mobile cook will help cover staff absences in the mid area of Powys.
Either assisting a cook in a high school kitchen or primary school or stepping up to cover a cook at either a primary school or high school in Mid Powys They will be responsible for adhering to Powys policy and procedures we have in place in our kitchens. Preparation, cooking and serving of meals to pupils of all ages following our nutritional guidelines and portion control
- Presentation
- Interpersonal and good communication skills
- Working to tight deadlines
- Training kitchen staff in tasks
- Adaptable and flexible in working location
- An enhanced DBS check is an essential requirement of this post
- Driving Licence essential
