Bakery Team Leader

We’re now on the lookout for a Bakery Team Leader to join our Rathfriland store. This is a full‑time, permanent role (Monday–Friday) where you’ll help lead our bakery team, ensuring every product that reaches our shelves is of the highest standard.

• Supporting the Bakery Manager with the daily running of the bakery
• Taking charge of the decorating department, ensuring that all orders and shop‑floor requirements are completed
• Leading and motivating the team to achieve targets.
• Making sure products are made, finished, and presented to the best standard.
• Making products from scratch such as lemon meringues, profiterole cases, tray‑bakes and dessert pots
• Creating fresh cream products such as profiteroles, gateaux, pavlovas, roulades, etc.
• Decorating cakes and buns
• Keeping the bakery safe, clean, and compliant at all times.
• Looking after equipment and ensuring it’s used correctly.
• Helping with paperwork, quality checks, and food safety procedures.
• Creating a positive, supportive atmosphere for the team.
• Liaising with our customers on bespoke orders

• Someone with previous bakery, food production, or retail leadership experience.
• A strong communicator who can motivate and support others.
• A hands‑on leader with a positive, “can‑do” approach.
• Someone who values quality, consistency, and teamwork.
• Someone with good customer service skills and happy to discuss options with our customers and fellow colleagues.
