About us: We are an independent chocolate café and shop with on site chocolate manufacturing and workshop space. We serve drinks, lunches, sweet treats and handcrafted chocolate in a friendly, welcoming environment. We host chocolate workshops and parties and manufacture chocolate products on site.

We’re looking for a reliable team member to work regular weekday shifts (including Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays) and help run the café and shop during every other weekend. This is a hands on role within a small team, with full training provided. You will be responsible for keeping the café running smoothly during your shifts, including customer service, opening and closing tasks, and supporting the wider team.

Average 20–25 hours per week

Fixed 2 week rotating pattern. Weekday shifts every week (including Monday, Tuesday, and Friday). Saturday and Sunday shifts every other weekend. No late evenings or split shifts.

Winter: 10am–4pm (Mon–Sat), 11am–4pm (Sun)

Spring/Summer: 10am–5pm (Mon–Sat), 11am–4pm (Sun)

Rota structure remains the same year round; finish times extend slightly seasonally.

• Serving customers and preparing drinks & food
• Retail sales and till operation
• Opening and closing the café and shop
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation
• Cash handling and end of day procedures
• Being the main point of contact during weekend shifts
• Supporting the team during the week
• Assisting/ hosting workshops & parties (in time)
• Assisting with manufacturing (in time)

• Reliable and punctual
• Outgoing, Friendly and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently
• Happy to work Fridays and every other weekend
• Café Or Retail Experience Preferred But Not Essential.
