About the role
We are recruiting for an Experienced Butcher to join a well-established butcher shop based in West Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled butcher who enjoys a mix of hands‑on production work and customer interaction within a friendly, supportive, and close‑knit team.

- Breaking down larger carcasses received in quarters
- Preparing and processing meat for retail sale
- Working across a range of proteins including beef, lamb, poultry, and goat
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer‑facing counter service
- Supporting day‑to‑day shop and retail operations
- Working collaboratively within a small butchery team
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and presentation
- Have proven experience as a butcher with strong technical skills
- Be confident working with multiple species
- Be reliable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Be comfortable working both behind the scenes and on the retail counter
- Have strong communication and customer service skills
- Enjoy working as part of a small, supportive team
Day shifts, approximately 8:00am - 5:00pm
