Customer Team Member

As a Customer Team Member, you'll work as part of a friendly team in a fast‑moving Co‑op store, helping deliver essential services to your community every day. Depending on your store, this could involve working in our post office, bakery, or online services by picking and packing orders for home delivery. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.

You’ll help keep our shelves stocked and support sales, making sure customers can find what they need. You’ll be a familiar face in the community, establishing connections with local charities and promoting Co‑op membership.

• Support day‑to‑day store operations and provide friendly, thoughtful service.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate the shop floor and tills, contributing to daily operations.
• Maintain store performance by stocking shelves, checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Promote Co‑op Membership and support local community initiatives.

• Assist the Store Manager and ensure store safety.
• Maintain store appearance and stock levels.
• Lead by example, fostering a great customer experience.

• Lead a team of managers across 20 stores.
• Deliver excellent in‑store experience, drive sales, and support communities.
• Implement strategies through projects and programmes.

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great service.
• Ability to work as part of a team and flexibly across shifts.
• Interest in retail and busy store environment (experience not essential).

Working pattern:
Closing shifts from 1 pm through to 11 pm and close, with flexible availability across the week to include at least one weekend shift. Either Friday after 6 pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday.
