Apprentice Supervisor – Tondu

This permanent full‑time apprenticeship offers 35 hours per week, 5 days, starting at 7:00 am each day. The role is based in our shop in Tondu.

• Pay: £13.61 per hour
• Weekly hours: 35
• Holiday entitlement: 6 weeks

• Working in a busy shop and learning to be an effective supervisor.
• Regular visits from an assessor via Microsoft Teams video call.
• Completion of apprenticeship coursework.
• Completion of essential skills in Communication and Maths (if applicable).
• Assessment at the end of the 12‑month training period.
• Award of a Retail Skills (Management) Level 3 qualification.

• Welcome customers with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers locate items.
• Provide fast, friendly till service and assist with packing.
• Handle stock for deliveries, place products on shelves and ready for sale.
• Support the team in daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance routines.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and support the manager in leading the team and delivering excellent customer service.
