Customer Assistant

Job Overview

We are looking for a Customer Assistant at Lidl in Darwen, Lancashire. Role is a 20‑hour contract with an hourly rate of £13.45‑£14.45, plus £2.00 hourly for bank holidays and £3.50 for nights. You will receive 30‑35 days holiday pro‑rata, a 10% in‑store discount, and a pension scheme.

• Restock shelves and keep the store clean, tidy and organised.
• Operate the tills and handle cash transactions.
• Assist customers with questions, queries and requests, ensuring excellent service.
• Process deliveries as they arrive in store.
• Maintain the bakery and non‑food aisles, baking fresh goods where required.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work flexibly on early or late shifts.
• Collaborate with retail colleagues to help the store succeed.
