Picker; Part Time

Overview

You will be expected to ensure our customers’ needs are exceeded at all times while working in a number of areas of the store. Responsibilities include filling shelves, serving on tills, ensuring stock levels, and processing deliveries to ensure customers get everything they came for quickly and efficiently.

• Pick and dispatch goods accurately using a handheld terminal and advise the Manager of any differences.
• Check quality and shelf life; ensure packaging is robust in preparation for delivery.
• Provide a high standard of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and to target.
• Be polite when dealing with delivery staff and respond appropriately to queries and complaints; refer any complex situations to an appropriate person.
• Maintain a can-do attitude and work to meet designated pick rates; be punctual and properly presented.

• Strong customer service orientation with willingness to go the extra mile.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Experience with stock picking, packing, and handling deliveries is preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and presentable.
