The role of the Business Development Manager – Plumbing & Heating Systems will involve:
* Business Development Manager position dealing with a range of underfloor heating systems sold into main contractors, plumbing contractors, mechanical contractors and house builders.
* Achieving new business sales targets by building and managing a strong, right-sized pipeline
* Proactively generating new opportunities through structured prospecting and face-to-face appointments
* Owning the full sales cycle from lead generation to on boarding and order handover
* Maximising customer spend through value-based selling, upsell/cross-sell, and collaboration with Key Account Managers
* Act as a trusted product expert and brand ambassador, delivering excellent customer service and continuous self-improvement
The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager – Plumbing & Heating Systems with:
* Must have 2+ years’ experience in business development or a similar sales role
* Must have experience within a underfloor heating systems and/or experience selling into main contractors, plumbing contractors, mechanical contractors and house builders
* Strong lead generation and prospecting skills, with good commercial and numerical awareness
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), personable, professional, and articulate
* Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong time management and teamwork skills
