Area Sales Manager (North UK &NI)

Location: Field-based (Region North UK and NI) Reporting to Bristol HQ, including monthly visits to Bristol HQ. Regular overnight stays will be required to cover the territory.
Salary: £40,000 £ 47,000 Base + Commission + Company Car

Kranlyft UK is the exclusive master distributor for industry-leading lifting brands, including Maeda Mini Cranes, Klaas Aluminium Cranes, and Terex Self-Erecting Tower Cranes. We are looking for a high-energy Area Sales Manager to drive growth and join our welcoming team.

The Role

You will be responsible for the full sales lifecycle, identifying new business opportunities while nurturing our existing network of valued customers, including rental companies and specialist contractors.

• Territory Growth: Develop and execute a 12-month sales strategy to exceed revenue targets.
• Expert Consultation: Conduct on-site equipment demonstrations, showcasing the technical superiority of the Maeda and Klaas ranges.
• Relationship Management: Develop new business relationships and maintain our existing customer relationships, ensuring Kranlyft remains the partner of choice for lifting solutions.
• Market Insight: Stay ahead of 2026 trends, particularly the emerging opportunites for electric/zero-emission mini cranes and smart lifting tech.

What We re Looking For

• Experience: 3 5+ years in capital equipment sales, ideally within plant hire, material handling, or cranes. Other experience considered.
• Tenacity: A proven track record of securing new business and closing high-value deals.
• Technical Savvy: Ability to understand and explain load charts, hydraulic systems, and safety regulations.
• Flexibility: This is a field-based role requiring extensive travel and a valid UK driving license.
