• Assist customers on the trade counter, understanding their specific needs and providing product advice and recommendations.
• Proactively engage with both new and existing customers to maximise sales opportunities and build strong relationships.
• Handle customer phone calls and emails with a positive and proactive approach, building strong relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Carry out general warehouse duties, including picking and packing customer orders and unpacking stock to be booked into the system and put away in the warehouse.
• Schedule customer deliveries.

Full‑time, permanent role working 42.50 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 07:30am – 5:00pm and Friday 07:30am – 4:00pm.

• Industry or merchant experience is advantageous.
• Proven experience dealing with customer sales on a face‑to‑face basis.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in customer interactions.
• Dependable team player, prepared to support in all areas of the branch with a strong work ethic.
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
