Sales Specialist – Customer Operations
We are looking for a sales‑oriented individual with strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to identify the right solutions for our customers’ needs. The role involves discussing our product suite with customers (training will be provided), understanding their needs, and promoting the appropriate product while balancing business and customer priorities. Excellent customer service skills, resilience, and a passion for solving complex problems are essential.
OverviewAs a Sales Specialist in our Customer Operations team, you will be at the heart of everything we do – helping our customers. You will engage with customers over the phone and via email, including interactions with industry stakeholders, and you will develop solutions to address their challenges. Your work will involve leading sales for
E.ON Next, onboarding retentions, switches, and cross‑selling.
- Talk to customers over the phone and via email, engaging with industry stakeholders.
- Identify and create new sales opportunities.
- Lead on all aspects of sales for
E.ON Next, including onboarding retentions, switches, and cross‑selling. - Provide rapid, customer‑focused solutions to resolve customer challenges.
- Take full responsibility for all sales interactions from the start of the customer journey.
- Participate in an 8‑week training programme at our Nottingham hub, including three full days at the hub each week.
Starting salary: £25,987 with an OTE of £34,103 and uncapped commission.
Flexible and hybrid working:
Monday‑Friday 9am‑5pm, with 2‑3 days a week in the hub.
Annual leave: 26 days plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase an additional 2 weeks.
Generous pension contribution, paid fertility leave, neonatal leave, equal parent leave, and birthday leave.
Working ConditionsFull‑time (37 hours) or part‑time (minimum 30 hours) contracts.
Location after training: choice of Nottingham City Centre or Syston (Leicester) hub.
