Location: Wiveliscombe
We are seeking a Sales Administrator to join our head office team in Wiveliscombe. This role is central to managing incoming enquiries, coordinating multiple work streams, and supporting the wider business development function.
By taking ownership of enquiry logging, quote follow‑up and customer coordination, you will free up capacity across the wider WCI team and help ensure a smooth, well‑organised customer journey.
This is a full‑time, Monday to Friday role with a salary of up to £30,000 depending on background and experience. Due to the nature of the role you will be required to be on site at Wiveliscombe and must live within commuting distance of TA4 2PW
(approx. 60 minutes).

Key ResponsibilitiesYou will support the sales process and wider client journey by:
Logging and managing all incoming enquiries, ensuring accurate data entry and tracking.
Following up on quotes, gathering customer feedback and maintaining up‑to‑date records (no cold calling).
Coordinating customers through the enquiry and quotation process, managing multiple live work streams independently.
Asking clear, sensible questions to understand customer needs — curiosity and communication matter more than technical knowledge.
Maintaining accurate CRM/ERP records (full training provided on WCI’s in‑house ERP system).
Preparing basic documentation and supporting reporting tasks, particularly within Excel.
Providing excellent customer service by phone and email, with a confident and professional manner.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking someone who has proven experience in sales administration, with strong administrative and data‑entry skills. A proactive personality who is technically minded in their approach to problem‑solving.
Someone who can work independently and reliably, demonstrating genuine curiosity in learning about the sector WCI operates in.
High attention to detail and accuracy when handling customer information and quotes.
Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (used for most reporting functions).
Comfortable working within CRM/ERP‑style systems (training provided).
Excellent organisation and multi‑tasking skills, able to manage multiple enquiries at once.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident phone manner.
DesirableSkills & Qualifications
Prior exposure to drainage, wastewater, construction or engineering.
Experience using ERP, CRM or job‑management systems.
