Sales Engineer

Location:

North of England & Scotland
Salary: 40,000 basic + bonus (OTE)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer and supplier of industrial technology solutions, covering the North of England and Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional with experience selling into industrial, manufacturing and engineering environments, looking to develop existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.

• Develop new business opportunities across the North of England and Scotland.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
• Provide technical advice and product support to customers.
• Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Build strong relationships with engineers, procurement teams and senior stakeholders.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Work closely with internal technical and engineering teams to deliver customer solutions.
• Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.
• Monitor market developments and identify opportunities for growth.

• Previous experience in technical sales, sales engineering or business development within an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering/manufacturing applications.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts.
• Confident technical and commercial communication skills.
• Experience selling to OEMs, manufacturers, engineering businesses or industrial end users.
• A proactive, consultative approach to sales.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.

• 40,000 basic salary
