Car Sales Manager

Our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership in Newport, is seeking an experienced New Car Sales Manager to lead their dynamic sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven automotive professional to take the next step in their career within a well-established dealership group, responsible for overseeing sales performance and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

• Competitively starting basic salary of £40,000 per annum, with uncapped on-target earnings exceeding £60,000 annually based on departmental performance

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 3-4 New Car Sales Executives and a Business Manager to consistently meet and exceed sales targets
• Champion excellent customer service, ensuring the sales process is professional, engaging, and customer-focused
• Develop and implement innovative sales campaigns and promotional events to generate revenue and increase market share
• Monitor market trends and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with service and parts departments to maintain accurate customer data and foster a seamless customer journey
• Maintain compliance with dealership policies and industry standards

• Proven experience in a Car Sales Manager role within a franchise-approved car dealership, ideally with a track record of success in a similar environment
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on delivering results through coaching and mentoring
• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and representing the brand professionally
• Full UK driving license with minimal points
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic sales initiatives and work effectively within a target-driven environment
