South-West London / Greater London Hybrid Salary: £50,000 £ 100,000  bonus depending on experience Job Type: Permanent A fast-growing cybersecurity SaaS organisation is looking for a Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer to join its expanding pre-sales team. This is a customer-facing Sales Engineering / Pre-Sales role focused on delivering high-quality SaaS product demonstrations to SMB and mid-market customers. The successful candidate will work closely with Account Executives, joining customer calls after discovery and demonstrating how the company's cybersecurity platform can solve specific customer challenges.

Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging SaaS product demonstrations to prospective customers. Join Account Executives on customer calls and support the sales process. Understand customer pain points and tailor demonstrations accordingly. Translate technical product features into clear business benefits. Support customer trials and proof-of-value activities. Define success criteria for customer evaluations. Conduct follow-up demonstrations and technical sessions throughout the trial. Provide technical and cybersecurity expertise during the sales process.

Work with Account Executives to progress opportunities. Capture customer feedback and share insights with internal product teams. Develop strong knowledge of the company's cybersecurity platform and Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Requirements The ideal candidate will have:
Experience as a Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect or Technical Consultant. Experience working with a SaaS product. Experience delivering software or technology demonstrations. A good understanding of cybersecurity, cyber threats and security technology. Strong communication and presentation skills. The ability to understand customer requirements and map them to product functionality. Commercial awareness and an understanding of the sales cycle.

Experience working with SMB or mid-market customers is highly desirable. The ability to work at pace and manage multiple customer opportunities. Confidence delivering a high volume of demonstrations. Microsoft 365 experience is advantageous but not essential. The organisation has experienced Microsoft specialists who will support the successful candidate in developing their Microsoft knowledge. What Makes This Role Different? This isn't a traditional enterprise Solutions Architect role where one customer presentation can take several days to prepare.

The Sales Engineering team operates a high-volume SaaS sales model , with the potential to deliver 1015 demonstrations every week. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable jumping onto a customer call, quickly understanding the prospect's requirements and confidently demonstrating the most relevant parts of the product.
