Nursery Sales Executive

Todds Nursery is entering an exciting new phase of growth.

As part of the Urban&Civic Group, we are investing in becoming one of the UK’s leading suppliers of semi-mature trees and landscape products. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Nursery Sales Executive to join our growing team and help build long-term relationships with customers across the landscaping and horticultural sectors.

This is a varied role combining technical sales, business development and customer service. Whether you’re welcoming customers to the nursery, preparing quotations for major landscape projects or developing relationships with contractors and developers, you’ll play an important role in the continued success of the business.

As our Nursery Sales Executive, you will:

• Build and develop relationships with commercial and retail customers.
• Manage enquiries from first contact through to completed sale.
• Prepare quotations and follow up opportunities to maximise sales.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Support customers with information and advice on trees, planting and aftercare.
• Work closely with nursery operations to ensure sold stock is selected, prepared and delivered to the highest standards.
• Maintain accurate sales records and follow Company governance procedures.
• Represent Todds Nursery with professionalism, enthusiasm and integrity.

You’ll be someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and delivering excellent customer service.

Ideally you’ll have:

• Experience in sales, account management or business development.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• The confidence to build long-term customer relationships.
• A proactive and positive approach.
• A full UK driving licence.

Experience with in horticulture, landscaping or the nursery sector would be advantageous, but we’re equally interested in people with the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

The role is based at our nursery at Southill and involves regular time outdoors in all weathers, alongside customer and site visits.
