About the Role
Our client, a reputable business in the automotive industry, is seeking a Used Car Sales Manager to lead their Exeter branch. This role involves driving sales performance and profitability while ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance. The position requires strong leadership skills to develop a high-performing sales team within a franchised dealership environment.

The Role
* Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a team of Sales Executives and Business Managers.
* Drive used vehicle sales performance and departmental profitability.
* Ensure outstanding customer service throughout the buying journey.
* Support the sale of finance, GAP insurance, warranties, and additional products in a compliant manner.
* Manage sales campaigns, promotions, and dealership objectives.
* Monitor KPIs, sales targets, and operational performance.
* Maintain high standards of FCA compliance and ethical selling practices.
* Manage stock presentation, pricing, vehicle turnaround, and profitability.
* Conduct first and second-face customer interactions where required.

Essential Requirements
* Previous experience as a Used Car Sales Manager or Automotive Sales Manager.
* Proven track record of increasing sales and profitability.
* Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
* Excellent commercial awareness and customer focus.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
