R&D Analytical Scientist (1-Year Fixed-Term Contract) – Swindon, UK
Catalent Pharma Solutions is expanding and excited to invite a talented R&D Analytical Scientist to join our dynamic Analytical Team at our Swindon facility.
As an Analytical Scientist you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Analytical Development group, contributing to project execution, method development, and laboratory activities within a cGXP‑compliant environment. Your work will directly support product innovation, process validation, and global product delivery.
The Role- Perform analytical testing focused on cleaning validation, process development stability, clinical batch release, and method validation.
- Operate and maintain a wide range of laboratory equipment with confidence.
- Participate in research into new technologies and analytical techniques.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Analytical Development team.
- Apply root‑cause analysis and statistical tools to support investigations.
- Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment, including housekeeping and safety audits.
- Ensure all work aligns with regulatory and cGXP standards.
- Degree (or higher) in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Hands‑on experience in a cGXP laboratory environment.
- Working knowledge of HPLC and other analytical instrumentation.
