Shifts:

4 on, 4 off (12-hour shifts, including days, nights & weekends)

We are seeking a dedicated
   
    Security Officer
   
   to ensure the safety and security of National Grid's training facilities. The role requires vigilance, professionalism, and adherence to security protocols to protect people, property, and assets.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain site security in line with
    
     Assignment Instructions (AI's)
    
    and company policies.

Monitor for risks, respond to incidents, and report health & safety hazards.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and complete required training.

Maintain accurate records and escalate issues when necessary.

Conduct regular patrols and ensure adherence to all safety procedures.

Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.

Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

Requirements

DS (Door Supervisor) SIA License
    
    (must be worn on duty).

✔️

Full UK Driving License
    
    (essential for site accessibility).

✔️

Enhanced DBS Clearance
    
    (required).

✔️

Previous security experience
    
    (preferred).
