Working Pattern: Monday to Sunday, including weekends and bank holidays
Shifts: Early and late shifts required - start times can vary from 06:00 and finish times up to 00:00
Requirement: Valid SIA Licence and own transport essential

Kingdom Group is seeking a professional, flexible, and reliable Retail Support Security Officer to join our team supporting Tesco Sleaford and surrounding locations.

This is a relief position covering holidays, absence, and additional operational requirements across the local area. The role will primarily involve working within Sleaford, with occasional cover requirements in Boston when required.

As a key member of the security team, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service and supporting store operations.

• Provide a professional, highly visible security presence within store locations.
• Deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents calmly, professionally, and in line with company procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas.
• Monitor CCTV systems where applicable.
• Support customers and colleagues with a helpful and approachable manner.
• Complete accurate incident reports and relevant documentation.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times.
• Work closely with store teams to support operational requirements.

This role requires a high level of flexibility to support business needs.

• Average of 35 hours per week.
• Shifts are worked between Monday and Sunday.
• Early starts can be from 06:00.
• Late finishes can be as late as 00:00.
• Weekend and bank holiday working is required.
• Shift times may vary depending on store and operational requirements.

Please note that due to the nature of the relief role, flexibility is essential. The successful candidate must be willing to work alternative start and finish times as required by the business.

The successful candidate must also be able to travel and work within a 10-15 mile radius of the listed locations when required.

While this position is expected to average 35 hours per week, full-time hours cannot be guaranteed initially. However, there is potential for hours to increase over time, with opportunities to progress into a full-time position subject to business requirements.

• Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervision or Security Guarding).
• Own transport is essential.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing shift patterns and locations.
• Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.
