Rigger, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Job Summary:
EFAB Resourcing are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Rigger to support lifting and rigging operations on one of our clients site who specialise in gas production and storage. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and operating rigging equipment to safely move heavy materials and equipment in accordance with site procedures and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and inspect rigging equipment.
• Safely lift, move, and position heavy loads as directed.
• Work closely with crane operators and other team members to coordinate lifts.
• Conduct pre-use inspections and ensure all rigging gear is certified and in good condition.
• Follow site safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Assist with general maintenance and operational tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Valid rigging certification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• MEWP Licence
• Experience working in industrial or gas plant environments.
• Strong understanding of lifting plans and safety procedures.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
