Industrial Electrician

We are working with a well-established engineering business specialising in pumping solutions in the Water industry, seeking an Industrial Electrician to join their mobile engineering team supporting operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrician from an industrial or commercial background to join a stable mobile engineering team responsible for maintaining, installing, servicing, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment across branches and customer sites.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair electrical and mechanical pump sets, both in-house and on customer sites
• Carry out electrical installations in accordance with I.E.E. Wiring Regulations and industry standards
• Prepare job reports, repair estimates, and advise on safety issues where required
• Maintain and complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements for all work undertaken
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures and site-specific safety rules
• Carry out wiring and testing in line with C&G 2382 (18th Edition) Wiring Regulations
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure correct installation and maintenance practices
• Maintain tidy vehicles, tools, and work spaces and represent the company professionally on customer sites
• Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 6 weeks) and respond to urgent breakdowns when required

Skills & Experience Required

• ECS Gold Card Installation Electrician
• AM2 (Achievement Measurement
  2) or equivalent
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382)
• Demonstrable experience working as an Electrician in an industrial or commercial environment
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical repair, ideally within pumps, utilities, or construction sectors
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
• Strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction

Summary

Position: Industrial Electrician

Location: Liverpool and surrounding counties

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £50,000 £ 70,000 including Overtime, On-call, Vehicle & Benefits
